A large suspended rotating mirrored ball for the hotel lobby.
The Sphere
The sphere was made in 8 parts and held together with a steel framework.

The Mirrors
Individual mirror tiles were painstakingly glued on, leaving a strip around the edge that would be completed on site.
On-Site Construction
The individual segments were winched up on site and attached to the frame and internal motor that would turn the ball.
In place
The mirror ball assembled in place with more work to do along the segment joins.
